We just wrapped up a marathon circuit for the first leg of our FW17 buying schedule in Paris and NYC. The whole team is now back in Canada readying for the strong upcoming FW17 season.
First up Sasquatchfabrix.
Arthur sporting the appropriately named “Monster” Parka from Sasquatchfabrix.
We spotted intelligence Magazine Issue 03 at the SasquatchFabrix Showroom. Daisuke and SasquatchFabrix will also be featured on the cover of the latest The New Order Magazine as well.
Sato-san wearing this rad Blackmeans fishtail as he accompanied us to our next appointment with visvim.
Always visually impressive, the visvim showroom boasted oversized lantern light fixtures that were shipped directly from Japan and made from traditional washi paper. The entire visvim collection was really impressive as well. Lots of new styles and old favourites.
adidas collaborating with some heavy hitters next season!
Easily one of my favorite collections from the trip. Junya Watanabe’s runway show featured a remarkable line up of collaborative pieces from Carhartt, Levi’s and outwear made with The North Face.
The pinnacle of leather jackets. Hender Scheme’s natural dyed leather Riders will also be available in black next season.
Cold Parisian days go great with ramen.
Lots of laughs at the Kolor Showroom.
Paid a visit to our fellow Canadians from MAPLE, wings + horns and Reigning Champ at Man Show Paris. Enjoyed a few beers and some strong banter.
sacai held nothing back this season with both their collection and runway presentation being one of their best to date.
Sometimes its tough to gauge a collection from a runway show as you can’t always get a grasp of how the individual pieces look. Luckily sacai was equally as impressive close up as it was on the runway.
Their latest Hender Scheme collaborative shoe features a unique rear lace.
Next up was Undercover and TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.
This backpack was wild.
Graphics are really strong next season.
Stayed tuned for more highlights from our trip including the second leg of our trip in NYC, and last week in Tokyo.
