News

Last month, the HAVEN buying team packed our bags and headed to Paris and NYC, for the latest rounds of exhibitions held by our partners across the world. Here are some highlights from the trip in our latest edition of Buyers Log.

First order of business off a long flight. Plane food just doesn’t cut it.

Arthur in an oversized parka… I swear I take this photo at least once a season.

Stephen Mann’s Affix Works made its debut in Paris this season. The collection, a collaborative effort with the likes of Kiko Kostadinov, Taro Ray, and Michael Kopelman, made a lot of noise after their Dover Street Market launch event. They will be available at HAVEN for AW18.

Highlights from the Junya Watanabe Man runway show. The brands utilitarian garments featured fluorescent tape and reflectors that gave the collection a distinct “Workplace Safety” theme.

We put this guy through the ringer that night. Talks of Cryptocurrency require a lot of liquid fuel!

TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist was easily my favorite collection from PFW.

The collection features a full line of outerwear made completely from SOL heat preserving survival bivvies. Lightweight and incredibly warm, any longer and Arthur here would’ve been in a full sweat.

Nightmare fuel.

Undercover’s inspiration this season was Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 1960’s movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. References to the influential film ranged from subtle to overt, featuring understated motifs, to full prints of scenes lifted from the movie. A t-shirt even featured a line drawing of Stanley Kubrick’s face!

A winning combination.

visvim’s full collection was available in Paris this season, we had lots of great styles to check out.

The coveted JWM x North Face and karrimor deconstructed bag jackets are back this season!

Sacai’s runway shows are consistently a highlight for me. This season had us walking up 6 levels of a parking garage to find the show.

Look closely and you can see the models rocking some coveted Goro’s chains and pendants!

adidas up to big things in FW18.

Next up we head to NYC for Kapital, Needles and Engineered Garments!
