Junya Watanabe MAN caused a stir when he debuted his SS18 collection featuring jackets intricately made from deconstructed hiking backpacks. For FW18, the designer explores this idea further, with a unique waterproof jacket in collaboration with The North Face, that features eight front pockets and a TNF backpack integrated into the rear. With an overarching seasonal theme of modern workwear and industrial clothing, the jacket also features reflective paneling at the sleeves and shoulders along with a large “X” at the rear. Watanabe also re-joins British outdoor wear maker Karrimor to create a down insulated jacket complete with multiple buckles, straps, pockets and detachable inside backpack straps. Find both, available now at HAVEN.
