The 1953 Type II Jacket is an updated and modified version of Levi’s iconic Type I Jacket from 1936. Crafted from rigid selvedge denim, this piece became synonymous with the American working man’s uniform. True to its roots, it retains signature details like the “Two Horse” lot 507 leather patch, a double-pleated front, waist adjusters, and the Big "E" Red Tab™.
