Neighborhood returns this season with another instalment of its “Made in Occupied Japan” series of ceramic collectables. Inspired by the porcelain items that were exported and the US occupation of Japan, this incense chamber is made with traditional Chinese Kaolin clay. This large chamber features a skull sitting atop a Sears SSB CB Transceiver replica, wearing a set of headphones. Incense sticks can be inserted through the top of the skull, and as smoke fills its hollow interior, it flows out through the skull’s open mouth. Lifelike in size and shape, this piece of functional art will develop a patina with extended use. Available in-stores and online in black as well as blue, while supplies last.
