Nike’s Air Max 1 celebrates its 30th anniversary this year; in celebration of the technology and shoe that defined the dawn of a ‘Golden Era’ for Nike, our Toronto location plays host to an installation entitled ‘The Revolution Never Ends’. Made up to resemble the AM1’s visible air unit and plastered with bold graphics, four interior ‘air bubbles’ showcase some of the key releases and their corresponding deployment dates. On display are the ‘Air Max 1 Anniversary’ – made to the original 1987 specifications, the ‘Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant’ – voted back for re-release during last year’s festivities, the ‘Air Max 1 Masters’ – an amalgamation of some of the shoes most popular colourways, and finally the ‘Air Vapormax’ – the cumulation of 30 years of revolutionary ‘Air’ technology and the future of Air Max. The installation will be on display at our Toronto location throughout the month.
