Product Care

Before you wash
Zip everything — front, pockets, underarm zips. Secure all flaps and straps, and loosen any bungee cord locks. A fully closed jacket washes more evenly and protects the hardware.

Machine wash, gently
Gentle cycle, warm water (40°C / 105°F). Use a small amount of technical liquid detergent — we trust Grangers or Revivex. Rinse twice if you can, and keep the spin speed low.

Avoid powder detergents, fabric softeners, and bleach — they degrade the membrane over time.

Dry
Tumble dry on low heat, or line dry in a well-ventilated space. Once fully dry, run it through the dryer for an additional 20 minutes — this reactivates the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that keeps you dry out there.

Restoring water repellency
Over time, the DWR treatment can wear down. If your jacket no longer sheds water cleanly, a spray-on DWR replenisher will restore it. Both Grangers and Revivex offer spray-bottle formats for even, easy coverage.

Recommended Washing Frequency
Heavy activity use (such as snowboarding, skiing, or hiking): Wash after 6–8 uses.
Light activity use (such as dog walking or casual wear): Wash after 8–10 uses.

Suvin cotton is an ultra-long-staple fibre valued for its natural softness, strength, and refined hand. Proper care preserves its balance and ensures the fabric develops character without compromise.

Hand washing or Machine wash, gently
Wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand wash to protect the fibre structure. Clean with similar colours only. Expect minimal, natural shrinkage (approximately 1–3%). for detergent, Use a mild, pH-balanced or eco-friendly detergent. Less is more—avoid overuse.
Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, or fabric softeners. These weaken fibres and dull the fabric’s natural finish.

Dry
Line dry whenever possible. If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly to limit stress on the fibres and reduce creasing.

Optional Ironing
Steam or press on a warm to hot setting while the fabric is slightly damp to restore a clean, natural finish.

Storage & Longevity
Avoid over-drying and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Thoughtful care allows Suvin cotton to maintain its integrity and improve through wear.

We want to ensure that your product lasts for a long time and provides the performance you expect. To ensure this, Merino wool and cashmere blends should be hand-washed in cold water with delicate detergent, or dry cleaned to maintain softness.
Avoid wringing or twisting, as this distorts fibers; instead, gently squeeze out water and lay flat to dry in shape.

Hand washing
Hand washing is best, though gentle machine wash in a mesh bag is possible. Use cold or tepid water and Use a mild, wool-specific detergent or hair shampoo.
Process: Soak for up to 30 minutes, agitating gently. Rinse thoroughly in cool water. Avoid: Never use hot water, fabric softener, or wring the garment.

Dry
Lay flat on a clean towel to dry, reshaping while damp. Allow garments to rest for 24 hours between wears to let fibers recover

Avoid: Never tumble dry, as it causes shrinkage and felting.

Wrinkles: Use a steamer instead of an iron to avoid damaging fibers. Maintenance & Storage Pilling: Use a sweater comb or brush to remove pilling and lint, working in one direction.
Storage: Store clean, folded garments in a breathable, dry place to prevent moths.
Between Washes: Spot-treat stains immediately with a small amount of detergent.
