About the Role:
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of the promotion of HAVEN, across all social media channels and activations. As a function of the brand team, you will be working cross-functionally with the marketing, content, e-commerce and retail departments. This role supports the Go-to-Market calendar, in the planning and creation of strategies that accomplish brand awareness, customer acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and reactivation, while building our community and reinforcing our brand positioning.

Duties and Responsibilities:
(Including but not limited to)

• Work closely with the Brand Director to create and evolve the seasonal marketing plan to align all business goals to social media and community activities
• Work with the Brand Director and Editorial Director to build our Social Media Strategy, and plan cohesive content across all channels and platforms that expands our audience, drives engagement and amplifies our brand positioning
• Recognize and capture behind-the-scenes content as necessary
• Requesting assets as necessary from content teams to ensure deliverables are met
• Plan and execute day-to-day social media activities across all platforms
• Design necessary social media assets
• Capture and edit photo and video content for use on all digital platforms
• Record, collect and analyze social media analytics to advise and make decisions for
continuous improvements and identification of new opportunities
• Identify up-and-coming social media platforms and trends and advise how HAVEN can utilize
• Work closely with the Brand Director and Marketing Manager to build community and in-person strategies to create lasting brand advocates.
• Working closely with the Marketing Manager to continue to refine and expand our seeding and influencer strategy to create genuine brand relationships and increase brand awareness through digital and physical brand touch points.

Qualifications and Assets:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms and their algorithms
  • Knowledge of content creation and content management
  • Ability to create and curate engaging content for social media
  • Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Aftereffects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to measure and analyze the success of social media campaigns
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A strong understanding of branding and a brand's voice
  • A good understanding of current trends and popular culture.
