CHUP

CHUP, or Classical Human's Universal Peace, is the in-house brand of Japan's specialist textile and sock manufacturer specialists Glen Clyde. Since 1993, Glen Clyde has been working with reputable brands and retailers in producing high quality socks. Launched in 2009, CHUP is deeply inspired by aboriginal culture: the name CHUP refers to Japan's own natives, the Ainu people. In homage, CHUP uses designs with global ethnic emblems, motifs and inspirations. CHUP utilizes 'earth-friendly' Eco Yarn and builds each sock on a specialized stocking frame to ensure the perfect fit. The complexity of production makes CHUP socks prodigious, as they are produced in highly limited numbers.
