Since she launched her COMME des GARÇONS (French for “like the boys”) fashion brand 41 years ago, Rei Kawakubo has seen her brand grow to include a diverse selection of lines for both men and women- each with their own distinct feel. Inspired by Polish artist Filip Pagowski's now iconic 'Heart and Eyes' insignia The PLAY line is Kawakubo's endeavor for a more casual and 'playful' aesthetic meant to contrast CdG's more traditionally avant garde offerings.
