TILAK is a Czech family owned and operated Outdoors clothier founded by Roman Kamler. In 1986 the first TILAK product was made on a household sewing machine. Rooted in the performance required for climbing the mountains of the Czech Republic; TILAK remains wholly Czech manufactured in Sumperk, Northern Moravia. With a brand motto of “Nothing less than top quality” and a code of ethics that ensures quality, fairness and responsibility throughout; TILAK produces reliable outdoors products adhering to the strict criterion required to utilize W.L.Gore textiles and techniques for GORE-TEX®, GORE-TEX® GORE-TEX® INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® in the TILAK range. Additional performance textiles incorporated include CLIMASHIELD®, VENTILE®, POLARTEC® ,PERTEX, and TEIJIN DELTAPEAK®TL. An offshoot of the brands technically advanced outdoor apparel, Tilak (MiG) was designed and developed for professional military use and represents the highest level of innovation, durability and functionality.
