HAVEN Editorial for The North Face AMK Black Edition
Equipment shaped by extreme environments
High in the wind-scoured tundra of the Pacific Ranges, we travelled to Brandywine Meadows to explore a landscape defined by exposure. In winter, the terrain is reduced to its essentials: rock, ice, and snow stretching across vast, quiet expanses beneath open skies. Life is sparse and the beauty uncompromising. It is a place that demands intention, where only what is necessary endures. Framed by this environment, the editorial examines the relationship between technical equipment and modern form through HAVEN’s lens.
Born on expeditions, The North Face Advanced Mountain Kit (AMK) is a modular alpine system engineered for the harshest conditions. Designed to adapt to changing objectives, each layer functions independently or as part of a complete kit, prioritising weight, packability, and durability. The AMK Blackout Collection applies a monochromatic approach to this high-performance system, refining its visual language while amplifying function. Set against the stark terrain of Brandywine Meadows, the collection feels purposeful and inevitable, equipment distilled to meet extreme environments with clarity.
