Our Fall/Winter 2022 collection continues to advance our core tenets. By infusing everyday garments with discreet functionality, our garments serve a simple mission of providing comfort, style and performance. Exploring the intersection between craftsmanship and technical innovation, we are able to glean the best from both the past and future for a truly timeless collection. To fulfill this mission, we rely heavily on close relationships with our local Canadian and Japanese manufacturing partners, each with their own particular strengths and each known for their impeccable production techniques.

The Canadian climate, especially during the fall and winter season is notoriously challenging, disruptive and dynamic, characterized by short days, sub-zero temperatures and significant precipitation. In these months reliable protection is vital to alleviate the stress of venturing outside, and can even turn those outings into enjoyable or at least comfortable adventures. With this in mind, for peak protection, this season we introduce the pinnacle technology from GORE-TEX, with their GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™ fabrics to provide complete waterproof, windproof and breathable peak protection. Synonymous with elite performance, we utilize a 3-layer, seam sealed GORE-TEX fabric with a durable nylon face and apply it to our take on the technical outdoor shell jacket, alongside a modernized car coat. We also expand our range of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® garments, pairing its lightweight, windproof and extremely breathable technology with the lightweight warmth of PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation alongside a versatile, all-season, 3-layer softshell fabric.

Sleek technical fabrics are complimented with a range of premium natural fibres and fabrics which prioritize rich texture, next-to skin comfort and rugged durability. The epitome of artisan craftsmanship, we expand our handknit collection with ultra-soft  llama yarns. These unique fibres are hollow on the inside with a large inside diameter that gives them a lighter weight and superior insulation capabilities compared to traditional wools. These ultra-fine hairs also give the garment an extremely soft and luxurious handfeel that surpasses cashmere and baby alpaca. For our latest custom designed fabric, this season we work alongside an advanced Portuguese mill to create a custom 6-stripe cotton and merino ‘Hex Plaid’ that we apply to our modernized Woodland Shirt.

Working alongside textile manufacturers with histories and reputations that stretch centuries, we revisit Italy’s Loro Piana, utilizing their ultra-soft Zealander Wool as well as the technically advanced Storm System 3-layer fabric. With a luxurious nod to traditional workwear and menswear, we also introduce a dense and plush cotton with a plush emerized face from northern Italian Duca Visconti di Madrone alongside a fine wale corduroy that will age gracefully with continued wear. Finally a range of Polartec® performance fleece garments and accessories provide comfort and performance, balancing purpose-driven design details with function and fit.
