GRIFFON PARKA – JP KNITTED POLYESTER NYLON

Referencing a traditional USAF N-3B, our Griffon Parka implements modern improvements to the classic design. Built using a water and wind resistant compressed knitted polyester and nylon blend by Japanese knitting mill, KOMATSU, this fabric offers a unique soft and sculptural hand feel that will mold to the user with prolonged use. The body is lined with a Japanese nylon ripstop and premium 700 down fill insulation, providing abundant warmth in sub-zero temperatures.

The extended scuba hood construction is adjustable with a rear cinch strap, and is fully lined with Polartec® High Loft™ fleece along with the hand warmer pockets at the chest for extra warmth. For added utility we’ve added a stash pocket with nylon taping at the chest. The cut has be adjusted to feature a raglan / set-in articulated sleeve construction, contrast nylon twill reinforcements at the elbows and internal ribbing at the cuffs.

Custom hardware is used extensively throughout the parka, with a dual sliding, YKK Excella dual zip closure at the front, further fastened with a Milspec webbing snap placket on the storm flap. Built to the highest standards in Hokkaido, Japan.

PACIFIC PARKA – HANDKNIT WOOL

Our hand knit hooded Pacific Parka is built with a virgin wool yarn, distinguishable in its chunky appearance and unique craftsmanship. The wool fibres are painstakingly hand-spun, working the robust wool into a bulky yarn. Thanks to this process, the wool yarn contains a considerable number of air pockets, enhancing its heat retention and lightweight feel.The yarn is then hand knit by local artisans in British Columbia to create a custom pattern, paying homage to age old traditions synonymous with the Canadian Pacific Northwest.

This centuries-old technique lends to an unmistakable knit that drapes comfortably throughout. Structural deerskin leather panelling is tanned, dyed, punched and stitched, all by hand. These supple panels are stitched at the elbows with deerskin leather lace, creating a truly one-of-a-kind piece. Finishing details include our signature Horween leather zipper pull, and a custom YKK Excella™ two-way M8 zipper. Handcrafted in Canada.

BRIGADE JACKET – PRIMALOFT® RIPSTOP

Featuring oversized pockets and the versatility of an overshirt, the US military BDU Jacket is one of our favourite utilitarian garments. Our Brigade Jacket updates this classic silhouette, with a more contemporary fit and technical upgrades.

To combat the colder weather we opted for a durable but ultralight Japanese mini ripstop with 60 gram PrimaLoft® Gold insulation in a classic onion quilted pattern. Providing an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, PrimaLoft® offers unmatched breathability, packability and exceptional softness. When the temperature dips, the jacket can easily be worn beneath a shell where it becomes a warm and breathable mid-layer. The overshirt design conceals a YKK Michel snap button placket, reinforced with nylon tape webbing for a secure fit and ease of use. Made in Japan.
