Nature, Soundscapes, and the Creative Process - A Conversation with Justin Pelletier
Recently, we had the chance to sit down with Justin Pelletier a friend and contributor to the brand whose work as a filmmaker has had him turning his camera and storytelling skills to projects locally and internationally. Known for his vibrant, energetic style, he has the ability to authentically capture a subject or idea through his own individual lens. For our conversation we turned the camera on Justin, discussing the nature of his creative practice as well as the conditions and inspirations that fuel and inform it.
Field Notes: HAVEN / GORE-TEX Los Angeles Pop Up Shop
For the first time, HAVEN in partnership with GORE-TEX, is held a special Los Angeles Pop-Up shop from November 18th to November 20th. Located in the Arts District of Downtown LA, the temporary shop featured the HAVEN Fall/Winter 2022 collection alongside an original installation experience and photo exhibit introducing the HAVEN Field Testing Program.
HAVEN Field Testing Program
The HAVEN Field Testing Program is a new and continuous initiative launched this season with the goal of refining our products and showcasing our global network of friends, family and partners. Taking our products outside of the design studio and into a real world environment is an important part of our iterative process and ensures that our garments meet our rigorous standards of performance and comfort.
Process: Fall/Winter 2022
Fall/Winter 2022 marks our most comprehensive collection to date and we’re very happy with the outcome. As we expand the collection, we continue to refine our process, fine tune fits and examine everything down to the smallest details. Our goal is to continuously enhance the comfort and practicality of each garment while improving quality to ensure a lifetime of wear.

Our team recently traveled to Tokyo for a special exhibition of our upcoming FW22 collection. Open to a select group of buyers, press, friends, and family, the Shibuya showroom offered a glimpse at our exciting developments next season including GORE-TEX 3L, INFINIUM, WINDSTOPPER, Loro Piana, PrimaLoft™, Polartec®, Canadian handknit sweaters and much more.
Process: Spring/Summer 2022
Vancouver’s proximity to the Pacific ocean, coastal mountains and temperate rainforest create a diverse and challenging set of weather conditions specific to our region. We feel that the right garments can be used as tools to help us explore and enjoy our environment more comfortably and for longer periods.
HAVEN / GORE-TEX Partnership
This spring HAVEN is proud to introduce our partnership with GORE-TEX, initially utilizing their INFINIUM™ fabric technology on a range of utilitarian garments. Our journey with GORE-TEX is the culmination of countless discussions and years of research and development to ensure the garments meet both our own and GORE-TEX’s rigorous standards of quality, functionality and design.
