Fall/Winter 2021 marks the introduction of the HAVEN footwear program that merges luxury level craftsmanship with technical performance and outdoor functionality to excel in the harsh Canadian environment. Our distinct Catalyst Boot is a modernized and evolved rendition of the classic Canadian military combat boot. The boots are expertly crafted in Onè Di Fonte, a small town in Northwestern Italy that is world renowned for the production and development of the finest boots and performance footwear. For the uppers we choose durable Kudu suede sourced from UK based Tannery Charles F Stead and Co Ltd, a company with a storied history and reputation for producing some of the finest leathers available. Kudu leather comes from a species of wild Antelope from Africa and is a versatile mid-to-lightweight leather with an extremely soft hand that is also immensely strong, and ages gracefully thanks to its malleable composition. At the medial side is an original YKK Excella™ zipper that allows the boot to be easily put on and removed from the foot. Developed for hiking and long distance backpacking, Vibram’s New Winkler provides lightweight grip and stability and is supported with a Zeppa NG5 midsole for comfort. Finished with a padded collar with perforated detailing and a full leather lining.
