Inspired by military layering systems, our Ascent Zip Neck is the ultimate mid-layer, constructed in Canada from Polartec® Alpha® Direct fleece. Developed for the U.S. Special Forces, this advanced fabric offers lightweight warmth, breathable insulation, and moisture-wicking properties, eliminating the need for frequent layering. The zippered half-placket allows for rapid heat release, while the high neck and raglan sleeves enhance comfort and ease of layering. Thumbholes provide a secure barrier against cold air and aid in layering efficiency. Ideal for active movement in colder climates.
