The Bickle Vest takes inspiration from a style adopted by the anti-war protestors of the 60s who subverted a iconic military item, the M-65 Field Jacket, by cutting the arms off to make a vest. Constructed from a chino cloth woven from a premium extra-long staple cotton, it is characterized by a moderate stiffness that breaks in over time. Expediting that process, visvim have given the vest a garment dyed finish followed by their signature "Damaged" treatment. This provides the jacket with a characterful look and the soft, comfortable feel of a vintage item.
