Ideas Shaped Through Time with Jamie Wolfond

Levi’s® Vintage Clothing preserves the details, materials, and construction methods that defined generations of American workwear, revisiting archival garments shaped through utility, durability, and everyday use.

For this editorial, we spent time with Jamie Wolfond in his Toronto studio. Surrounded by tools, prototypes, and ongoing explorations in form and material, he works within a practice guided by clarity, function, and thoughtful refinement.

Throughout the feature, Wolfond wears the 1870s Nevada Jeans, a faithful reproduction of one of the oldest pairs in the Levi’s® archive. Originally created for working people and built around the demands of daily use, the Nevada feels at home within a studio where making remains a hands-on process. Both the garments and the objects around them reflect an appreciation for honest materials, purposeful design, and craftsmanship that reveals itself through time and use.
