Jeremy Koreski: ANOMALOUS

Few photographers have documented the Pacific Northwest with the depth, consistency, and curiosity of Jeremy Koreski. Born and raised in Tofino, Koreski has spent decades exploring the coast by air, land, and sea, creating a body of work that captures both the scale and intimacy of the natural world. His photographs are shaped as much by the environment as the moments themselves - often requiring long days in unpredictable conditions where rain, wind, and cold are constants rather than obstacles. It is a practice that demands preparedness, making reliable protection an essential part of the process.

To coincide with a new exhibition at HAVEN Vancouver, featuring a body of infrared work created specifically for the show, we spent time with Koreski in the places that continue to inform his perspective - from the skies above Clayoquot Sound to the waterways and shorelines surrounding his hometown. Throughout, HAVEN outerwear featuring GORE-TEX technology provided the weather protection needed to remain focused on the work at hand, regardless of the conditions.
