This season’s delivery from Hender Scheme introduces two new additions to its Manual Industrial Products line. Each style continues the brand’s exploration of form, process, and material through precise craftsmanship.
Handcrafted in Japan from undyed, vegetable-tanned leather, these pieces are made to age with use, developing a rich patina over time. The result is footwear that reflects both the maker’s intent and the wearer’s experience.

MIP 29
The Manual Industrial Products 29 offers a considered reinterpretation of the Clarks Wallabee, bringing elevated craftsmanship to a well-known form. Built with a structured upper, subtle ankle padding, and a leather-lined interior, it sits on Hender Scheme’s signature rubber-wood sole. The result is a thoughtful balance of familiar proportions and purposeful detailing.

The Manual Industrial Products 24 reimagines the Birkenstock Boston with precise craftsmanship and material focus. Handcrafted in Japan, the slip-on design highlights the character of untreated leather as it develops a unique patina over time. A leather lining, tonal strap and buckle, and a stacked rubber-wood sole complete a silhouette that balances utility and understated refinement.
