New Balance, with the fifth iteration of the 990, offers a tonal black colourway. The reconstructed silhouette features premium suede and mesh panelling in a sleek, minimal form. Newly added details to note include the molded rubber ankle collar, a reflective heel panel with “VV” branding, and smoothly sculpted ENCAP midsole with fastened rubber outsole. As with all previous 990's the V5 is made in the United States.
