Stone Island and New Balance come together again this season, continuing their long-term partnership with new make-ups of the advanced RC ELITE v2 running shoe. Taking an analytical approach to data-driven design, the two brands share values of research, innovation and functionality in their respective areas of expertise. The highly breathable upper represents the combination both New Balance heritage aesthetic and cutting-edge materials and techniques with mesh construction and a 3D logo application. This 3D knit mesh upper provides lightweight midfoot structure and features a thin, super breathable, race-ready vamp. Strategic 3D printed medial and lateral logos: the right foot New Balance graphics on the right foot, the Stone Island Compass logo on the left foot. The midsole utilizes New Balance’s most advanced and lightweight FuelCell technology with a full carbon fiber plate for high energy return and propulsive movement. Taking weight-reduction to the extreme, the shoes are finished with a midsole cutout and perforated outsole.
