HAVEN Suvin Cotton Range
EXQUISITE SOFTNESS AND LUSTRE THAT GETS BETTER WITH WEAR
When we began development on our ‘Prime’ range of year-round, staple sweaters and t-shirts, our first goal was finding a fabric that was ultra-soft yet structural and luxurious yet durable enough for daily wear. After sampling various cottons and blends from around the world one stood out above the rest; a rare breed of cotton from India known as Suvin. The world's longest and finest cotton fibre, Suvin cotton was created in 1971 by combining India's Sujata cotton with Sea Island, St. Vincent cotton. A climate characterised by intense sunshine and torrential monsoons provides the perfect environment to grow this extraordinary natural and breathable fibre that has rightfully earned the industry nickname ‘ White Gold’. These extremely long and thin fibres are then spun while also being exposed to a gas flame which removes any excess lint. These characteristics allow Suvin to be woven to very high thread counts, creating a soft handfeel, elegant, silk-like sheen and long-lasting durability rarely seen in cotton garments. When it comes to next-to-skin layering, once you try Suvin, you won’t want to wear anything else.
ENDURING STYLE WITH MODERN DAY FUNCTIONALITY
With this special fabric as the foundation, we set out to design t-shirts and sweaters that were both iconic and innovative. Not too baggy and not too trim, we wanted a fit that would suit any occasion so we tailored them with enough room in the arms and body to feel comfortable and unrestricted without looking sloppy or oversized. Our hoodie features a comfortable three-panelled, double layer hood for warmth and both the crewneck and hoodie are updated with a discreet dual-entry inset pocket. All styles utilize panelled underarm gussets which ensure a wide range of motion.

The classic Prime Crewneck is crafted from a luxurious Suvin Cotton with a custom grid knit construction. The application of panelled side gussets and underarms allows for a more comfortable, custom fit. At the shoulders is a two needle cover stitch accent. Storage is offered with a dual-entry inset pocket at the front and ribbing at the cuffs and hem round out the details. Made in Japan.
