The first of four collaborative releases, ASICS and Reigning Champ offer the ‘Kyoto Edition’ with updates on two GEL-KAYANO silhouettes. This collaborative effort pulls its inspiration from the craftsmanship and tradition so closely tied to the city of Kyoto. Both the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG and the GEL-KAYANO 25 are offered in toned down, complementary beige and charcoal iterations, with ASICS notable technology employed. The retro GEL-KAYANO 5 OF is updated with a layered, mesh upper and leather and suede overlays. It features ASICS’s proprietary GEL cushioning as well as DUOMAX™ heel support. The GEL-KAYANO 25 offers a streamlined silhouette with a textured FlyteFoam® EVA midsole, Guidance Trusstic® midfoot support and a Meta Clutch™ heel counter.

Release Information: The ASICS x Reigning Champ: Kyoto Collection will release in-stores at HAVEN Toronto and HAVEN Vancouver on June 15th at 11:00 AM, local time. Any remaining pairs will be made available online at 4:00 PM EST / 1:00 PM PST.
